2020 Sacramental Program

Our Parish Sacrament Program has been cancelled this year due to COVID-19.  Updates will be provided when available in 2021.

St.  Mary’s Cathedral Parish Sacraments Program is Family centred, Parish based, School and Catechist supported.

We welcome into our program baptised Catholic children from all schools in the Cathedral parish of Sale.   The Catholic Church teaches that Sacraments are visible actions and signs of God’s self-giving love made present for us.  They are wonderful saving gifts of God’s Grace to us through Jesus. The Sacraments require a continuity of friendship with Jesus, a journey of discipleship with Jesus. Parents who present their children for the Sacraments make that journey possible, in turn, parents themselves can deepen their faith and the faith of their children and understand that sacraments are always meant to be in the context of a journey with Jesus in our daily lives. It is from the heart that we encourage you to fan the flame of Jesus’ love in your children.

  • Children from year 3 upwards are welcome and encouraged to take part in the Sacraments Program. We welcome you and your child to make a commitment to the 2020 Sacraments program.
